Fleurieu Family Church
Fleurieu Family Church is part of the Acts 2 Alliance (A2A) body of churches and has been on the Southern Fleurieu since March 2000.
The Fleurieu Peninsula is located south of Adelaide, South Australia and has an extensive Christian heritage and influence dating back to 1839 where Reverend Ridgway Newland and his family settled. After meeting in tents and conducting worship meetings, a church called The Tabernacle was built in 1846 where Sunday services were held.
Since those early days many expressions of Christian gatherings have grown across the Fleurieu, including the start of Covenant Family Church, founded in 2000 by Pastor’s Paul and Robyn Glazbrook. Now known as Fleurieu Family Church (2FC), we have a heart for families and our community throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula and beyond, that together we will experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit through the practical outworking of His love and His Word.
Central to the growth and outreach of Fleurieu Family Church is a strong emphasis on prayer, through the Tuesday Night Prayer Meetings, which is devoted to interceding for needs of our community, nation and from around the world.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that regardless of age, there is always something each of us can do to be a blessing to others in this, our beautiful Fleurieu regional community.
John 8:32 “…And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
