In this world we live in we are confronted with many changes. It’s therefore so easy to get caught up in a culture of change and vacillate between so many opinions, choices or decisions.
Not to have a firm foundation in what we believe as true, is described in the Bible as being “double-minded”.
So what does it mean to be double-minded and how do we overcome being double-minded? Be blessed as we grow together in our understanding of truth, enabling us to live a peace filled, rock solid life.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. (NIV)
6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (NIV)
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. (NIV)
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ (NIV)
