Preached by Nigel Walters on 7/02/2021
Who do you say Jesus is? When you know that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the Living God, the only person that can and has paid for all your sins and brought you back into fellowship with God as your father, your life begins to improve.
It starts with intimacy with Him, spending quality time with Him, as you build such a loving relationship. As you open and share your heart with Him as He speaks to you also.
From intimacy comes revelation, given by the Holy Spirit, that you know that it’s not just information but absolute truth.
Your revelation concerning Him and life issues will give you the keys; to rule and reign with Him. You now have His authority and access to all that heaven represents so that your world would begin to look like His.

15 Because of this, since I first heard about your strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and your tender love toward all his devoted ones, 16 my heart is always full and overflowing with thanks to God for you as I constantly remember you in my prayers. 17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him.
18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! (TPT)
13 Now when Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah, or one of the other prophets.” 15 He *said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” 20 Then He gave the disciples strict orders that they were to tell no one that He was the Christ.
